Tennessee Attorney Cleared of Ethics Violation in Campaign Finance Dispute

The Tennessee panel responsible for overseeing attorney conduct has officially cleared a Nashville lawyer of any wrongdoing related to an alleged ethics violation. The case revolved around an incident involving a private investigator and the state's campaign finance director. In early July, the Board of Professional Responsibility informed attorney Cynthia Sherwood that it had dismissed the complaint lodged against her.
