TORONTO - Q-Gold Resources Ltd. has confirmed a clerical correction to its first-quarter financial reporting, stating the change has no effect on the company's previously announced financial results. The firm refiled its interim financial statements for the period ending March 31, 2026, after staff at the Ontario Securities Commission flagged a missing compliance statement during a routine review tied to the company's base shelf prospectus.
The omission was purely administrative, according to the company. The refiled documents now include the required statement, which was inadvertently left out of the original submission. QGold emphasized that all figures, disclosures, and operational data in the original filing remain accurate and unchanged. The correction does not alter revenue, expenses, assets, or any other reported metric.
The company said the issue came to light as part of the standard regulatory process, not as a result of any internal error or concern about the financial content. QGold noted that it cooperated fully with the OSC review and moved quickly to address the matter. The refiling brings the company into full compliance with securities regulations.
Management reiterated that the interim statements, as originally filed, fairly presented the company's financial position. The update is intended solely to satisfy a technical requirement. QGold remains focused on its ongoing exploration and development activities, and the company expects no further administrative adjustments related to this matter. The refiled statements are now available on the company's profile on the Canadian securities regulatory filing system.
