Check if a subscription auto-renews. Time how long it takes to reach a human. Often, the annoyance is the business model. The harder it is to leave or complain, the more they keep. You do not have to fight every battle, but you can choose to spend your money where the process is simple. That choice sends a message louder than any complaint.
