Light, a cutting-edge finance platform leveraging artificial intelligence, has successfully raised $30 million in a Series A funding round. This impressive amount will support the company's mission to revolutionize financial data processing. With the capability to analyze an astonishing 280 million records in less than a second, Light is setting new standards in the finance sector.
The funding round was led by Balderton Capital, a well-known venture capital firm, and included significant participation from other investors such as Atomico, Cherry Ventures, Seedcamp, and Entrée Capital. In addition to institutional backing, several angel investors have also contributed to this round. Among them are Thomas Wolf, Co-founder and Chief Science Officer of Hugging Face, and Charles Songhurst, who serves as a Board Member at Meta.
